Shaun Gladwell is internationally recognised for his evocative large-scale video works, photographs and sculptures. In 2009 he represented Australia at the Venice Biennale and in 2009 the Australian War Memorial commissioned him as an Official War Artist to cover the conflict in Afghanistan.
