Through the Foundation, the community has the opportunity to contribute to the rich heritage of the region and to develop an extensive, distinctive collection of artworks.

The Foundation Aims:

• To invite contributions, donations, gifts, bequest, endowments and other forms of financial assistance to or for the benefit of the Gallery.
• To attract and retain for the Gallery, the continuing interest and financial support of the community.
• To assist the Gallery in the promotion, development and extension of cultural awareness, education and knowledge in the community.

Your contribution will help us continue to profile innovative and stimulating exhibitions that reflect our unique region, that showcase our creative and diverse artists and that bring the art of the world to our city.

Your contribution will help us to build the Cairns Regional Gallery Collection for our children, visitors to our region and future generations to enjoy.

Your contribution will help us respond to the community’s request for more opportunities to experience art at first hand through engaging educational fun activities for all ages.

Your contribution will be a part of our long-term vision to provide a vital and engaging Art Gallery of the highest standard.

All benefactors are admitted to the Gallery free of charge to view, experience and enjoy Cairns Regional Gallery.

Cairns Regional Gallery Foundation acts as Trustee of the Cairns Regional Gallery Arts Trust. Cairns Regional Gallery Foundation is a designated gift recipient and is listed in the Register of Cultural Organisations under Sub-division 30-160 of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997. Cairns Regional Gallery is a not for profit company ABN 42 114 461 72. Donations to Cairns Regional Gallery are tax deductible.
